About St Clair Corner

A trusted Dunedin early learning home since 2002.

Privately owned by Heather and Mervyn Hobbs, St Clair Corner has grown from one restored villa into two neighbouring centres for tamariki from birth to 5 years.

Our history

Two neighbouring centres with one shared sense of whānau.

The Early Learning Centre opened in November 2002 in a spacious, restored historic villa. In 2007, the Infants & Toddlers Centre opened just two doors away in a renovated bungalow, creating a dedicated environment for babies and toddlers.

Heather and Mervyn's philosophy is centred around family. That is visible in the centres' home-like environments, warm relationships, and practical care for the indoor and outdoor spaces children use every day.
